Friday 3 December marks International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD).  It’s a United Nations observed day aimed at increasing public awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability.

The Australian website dedicated to the day can be found here . One of its main messages is to general public to, ‘Challenge the way you think about disability and help grow a more inclusive Australia’. The site also has a number of stories from people about living with disability.
